A statement from the Artist:

In early summer 2019 when I was fishing in Canada for the first time,  I saw along the shore some
Queen’s Anne Lace. I did a quick sketch of it and then returned to the cabin and did a small painting of
it. The smaller work so inspired me, and I decided to do a larger piece based on the first.
